Credit
The academic credit awarded at AQU is semester credit. Each
semester credit is equivalent to 12 sessions of classroom study
comprising three hours of study per week.
Grading System
AQU continually evaluates the student's educational progress
through examination of student's knowledge, for which AQU awards
letter grades with corresponding grade points if applicable. Passing
grades are A, B, C, or D unless otherwise specified in the course
descriptions for bachelor's program and A and B for master's and
doctoral programs. The following is the AQU's grading system:

Grievance Resolution
Policy and Procedures
AQU has adopted the following
procedures for addressing all grievances and disputes brought to
the Grievance Coordinating Committee:
(1) Within ten working days of receipt of the written grievance,
the Committee will notify the complainant the receipt of the written
complaint.
(2) A hearing shall be set up within 30 working days of the receipt
of the written appeal by the student.
(3) Within five working days from the hearing, the Committee shall
give a written decision to the complainant.
When submitting a formal appeal to the Grievance Coordinating Committee,
students are advised to assemble the following information and supportive
documents:
a. Nature of the problem or dispute,
b. The date(s) the alleged problem or dispute occurred,
c. The name of the individuals involved in the dispute,
d. Copies of all relevant supportive documents, and,
e. A brief statement concerning the ruling sought from the Grievance
Coordinating Committee.
The decision by the Grievance Coordinating Committee shall be final
and there shall be no further appeals. |
